What is most valuable in life? Love.
A person who is caring and compassionate, able to sacrifice, will always be happy and live meaningfully. Buddha encourages us to have great universal love and compassion.
We must love truly, universally, without exceptions all beings in the universe. This love will then be great, free from ego and be one with the entire world. Do not let love be like mire, sticky and coloured with prejudice.
A person with great compassionate love should cultivate one’s body and mind to be gentle and compassionate just like the soothing moonlight. Broaden our mind and ignite the light of wisdom.
Let our families or even the whole society, everyone interacting with us, feel at ease as if they are bathing under the soothing cool moonlight. Only then we have mutual, universal love and compassion for all sentient beings. This is the real essence of love and will elevate our morality to a higher level.
