When a piece of gold meets a piece of clay. The gold said to the clay, “Look at you all greyish and dark. Are you as shiny as me? Are you as dignified as me?” The clay shook its head and said, “I can grow flowers, fruits, grass, trees, crops and many others. Can you?” The gold turned silent.
Life’s meaning is not how much one is worth but how much value one can create. If one’s existence can help lots of people, that is value. Clay as compared to gold, is ordinary and not as worthy. However, clay’s real value is it can give life and nourishment to all existence.
A person’s worth is not how much talents he has but how these talents can help others. As what the above has mentioned, how many can benefit from our existence, is our true value and worth.
